Zoho Recruit's strongest argument is rarely about recruiting on its own. It is that you already run Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and Zoho People, and adding recruiting to an existing suite at suite pricing is cheaper and simpler than introducing another vendor.

It serves both corporate and agency use, is highly customisable, and undercuts most standalone ATS products on price.

The trade-offs are familiar to anyone who has used a broad suite: configuration effort to make it fit your process, an interface built for breadth rather than for recruiters working a pipeline all day, and AI features that are lighter than a specialist tool's. Depth is traded for coverage.

If the suite integration is why you have Zoho Recruit, moving recruiting out of it has a real cost, you break the shared data and add a vendor. That should be weighed honestly rather than assumed away.
